Starting a fast in the Lasta app is simple and quick. The Fasting tab guides you through the process, so you can begin your intermittent fasting journey right away—whether you're trying a beginner-friendly 14:10 plan or a longer window.
Step-by-Step: How to Start Your Fast
- Open the Lasta app on your device.
- Tap the More tab, select Fasting under Trackers
- You'll see the fasting tracker screen with your current plan details (e.g., fasting duration like 14h or 16h, timer, body status, etc.).
- Scroll to the bottom of the fasting tracker area.
- Tap the prominent Start fasting button
- That's it! Your fast begins immediately:
- The timer starts counting up (elapsed fasting time).
- The progress circle or bar fills as time passes.
- The app shows your estimated end time based on your chosen plan.
- Body status updates begin (e.g., from "Fed" to later stages like "Fat Burning").
Your fasting window is now active—stick to permitted zero-calorie options (water, black coffee, unsweetened tea, etc.) until your eating window opens.
Starting is the easiest part—consistency builds the real results! Once your fast ends, the app will prompt you to begin your eating window and log meals in the Food tab.
