Connecting Lasta to Apple Health lets the app automatically import your activity data (such as steps and workouts) for more accurate tracking of your progress in Daily Progress, Activity Tracker, and other features.
There are two main ways to set this up:
- Via the Lasta app (recommended – usually prompted automatically the first time you use Activity Tracker)
- Manually via iPhone Settings (if the prompt doesn't appear or you need to adjust permissions later)
Method 1: Connect Through the Lasta App (Easiest for First-Time Setup)
- Open the Lasta app on your iPhone.
- Go to the My Plan tab.
- Under the Daily Progress section, tap the Activity Tracker card.
- Tap the Activity section (or Steps if shown).
- If this is your first time opening Activity Tracker (or if connection is needed), Lasta will display a prompt to connect to Apple Health.
- Follow the on-screen instructions: Tap to allow access, then confirm permissions in the Apple Health popup that appears.
- In the Health permissions screen, toggle on the data categories Lasta should read (e.g., Steps, Active Energy, Workouts).
- Tap Allow or Turn On All (choose categories carefully for privacy).
- Return to Lasta – syncing should begin automatically. Your steps and activity will now import.
✅ Tip: If no prompt appears, try force-quitting and reopening Lasta, or proceed to Method 2 to enable it manually.
Method 2: Connect or Adjust Permissions via iPhone Settings
Use this if you need to enable, review, or change what data Lasta can access.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap Health.
- Tap Data Access & Devices (or Apps in some iOS versions).
- Find and tap Lasta in the list of apps. (If Lasta isn't listed yet, open Activity Tracker in the Lasta app first to trigger it.)
- You'll see categories Lasta can read from or write to Apple Health (e.g., Steps, Active Energy, Workouts).
- Toggle on the ones you want to allow.
- For best tracking, enable at least Steps and Active Energy.
- Changes save automatically – Lasta will start syncing the allowed data shortly.
Your activity data should now flow seamlessly into Lasta for accurate progress tracking!
Troubleshooting Tips
- No sync happening? Ensure Motion & Fitness is enabled: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness > turn on Fitness Tracking and Lasta.
- Lasta not in the list? Open Activity Tracker in the Lasta app to trigger the permission request.
- Double-check permissions: Return to Health > Data Access & Devices > Lasta anytime to review or update toggles.
- Still issues? Restart your iPhone, update both the Lasta app and iOS to the latest versions, or contact Lasta support via the app or lasta.app/contacts.
This connection is secure and only shares the data categories you explicitly approve. Enjoy more precise tracking toward your wellness goals! 💪
